About
Hey, I’m Gustavo da Rocha Pereira — a software engineer based in Florianópolis, Brazil, with 5 years of experience building and stabilizing products across startups and large enterprises.
I’m currently a Technical Lead at AB InBev, where I lead the migration of legacy systems, coordinate senior engineers across multilingual teams (English/Spanish), and ship scalable features under tight deadlines — touching operations in China, the U.S., Latin America, and India.
What I work with
- Languages & Frameworks: C#, .NET, Angular 2+, React
- Cloud: Azure, AWS
- Data: SQL Server, database optimization
- Infrastructure: Kubernetes (K8S), DevOps pipelines
- Process: Agile, Jira, team coordination
What I think about
Software architecture, team topologies, system design, database performance, and how to build teams that ship reliably. I care about the gap between “working code” and “maintainable systems.”
This blog
I write about the things I learn and think about at work: .NET and C#, cloud architecture, engineering leadership, and whatever else ends up on my mind. No fluff — just things I’d want to read myself.
